Cooking up a storm at the Giggling Gourmet CooksPlayground

This week saw Jenny Morris launching her all new Giggling Gourmet CooksPlayground.

This brand new, experiential, hands-on workshop studio is located in Napier Street in Green Point, opposite the recently extended Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village in trendy de Waterkant.

Jenny is a local celebrity chef. Not only has she conquered radio, but Jenny has also made several television appearances both locally and internationally. She has over 15 years experience, her own line of products , Jennyrated endorsed products and two recipe books, with a third one on the way.

So of course, it seemed only natural that her next step was to spread the love of food and open the CooksPlayground.

The CooksPlayground is a multi-purpose facility with state of the art equipment. Her various delicious experiences on offer include regular cooking classes, team building activities and cooks parties, such as kitchen teas, baby showers, pamper parties and more! The venue can also be used for conferences, product launches and as a food TV studio.

Having known Jenny for many years, we at Hippo Communications were called in to assist in managing the guest list. We invited various foodie media and other special guests to attend the launch and celebrate in the official opening of this fabulous new destination.

It's was a hands-on experience where everyone could participate in making the snacks for the evening. Various canapes including duck spring rolls, parma ham & pesto bread sticks, prawn cocktails, cream cheese & salmon tarts, chocolate desserts and so much more.

It was such fun & certainly every guest left with a satisfied and full belly. :)
