Yesterday was Lydia’s 30th birthday and she invited myself and a few other girlfriends to join her for dinner.We went to Inamo, a pan-asian restaurant near Piccadilly Circus that was offering a special of three courses for £15.00. Not only was the food really good (miso soup, duck pancakes, baby crisp prawns, home-made pickles, rice & a trio of ice-cream for dessert), but the restaurant has this really cool interactive menu system that is projected onto each table.
Each person is able to navigate through the menu selecting drinks and food. You can add and subtract items from your list and then select ‘place order’ when you are ready to order. You can view images of the dishes, select themes and ambience for your table as well as call a waiter, request your bill and even order a taxi! Simply by the click of a button.
It’s fantastic!
