I LOVE food! And I especially love eating out.
Over the past couple of weeks the restaurants I seem to frequent have all been Italian. Not for any particular reason, but I do indeed have a deep love for pizza and pasta.
Cape Town really has a number of fabulous restaurants where one can dine. In my recent outings, Posticino in Sea Point offers a truly unique Italian experience. With owners Enrico and Gioacchino shouting across the tables and their thin crust pizzas, this Italian gem with outdoor seating is a real hot spot.

Pasta Factory is one of my new favourites! This restaurant located just off Kloof Street is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. With an impressive, wide menu, there is bound to be something that tickles your taste buds. They showcase a delightful salad, pizza and pasta bar and they offer superb pasta takeaways at very reasonable prices. An attribute of this charming restaurant is their unique payment system. Individual diners, couples or groups (depending on what you choose), make use of their own 'Pasta Factory payment card'. It is swiped with each item you order and the table receives a bill per card. This is a great idea for big groups when splitting the bill can always be a bit of a headache.

Doppio Zero, a franchise restaurant that seems to be going from strength to strength has eatery's popping up in every suburb. And Da Vinci's Restaurant, with a branch in Kenilworth and a branch in town, they offer something for everyone.

All of the above are 'must try' destinations. They just simply cannot be missed!
