For 25 years I called Cape Town my home.
Now, here I am in London (nearly one year on) and I call London my home.
When you live all the way down south, so many things seem far away.
International celebrities live far away, travelling to another country for a day or a weekend is rare, and Oslo was a city literally on the other side of the world.
Now, here I am.
Amy Winehouse (until Saturday) lived just around the corner from my office, I am going to be going to Malta this weekend and our newspapers are filled with articles about the Oslo massacre.
It all seems so surreal.
